End of year Task for your Business

Sometimes nothing makes you feel more boss than doing the non creative task, like book keeping and scheduling. These are some necessary jobs that come with working on your business, rather than in your business.  End of year business planning is some of my favorite things to do. It makes me feel in charge to know that I am taking care of business by Wrapping up the end of the year to make way for the next one.

Taxes – I make sure I am up to date on my expenses. I do this weekly and I like to do it again at the end of the year to make sure I have added any subscriptions and other yearly services. I like to stock up on anything I need like postage, paper, stock images, or any software upgrades so I can turn those in for my taxes. Read more about taxes here and here.

Client checkup – I make sure all of my invoices are out and paid. I send out cards to thank all of my clients for their business. I also think about other ways I can serve them this year.

Finances – I look at all of my expenses and see where I can save. For example,  I have a list of apps, software and subscriptions that I review to see if I can do without some or maybe upgrade to save money. Maybe you use a lot of stock photos and a subscription is the cheaper way to go.
